Restaurant Mascalzone Latino

How could be opened a Neapolitan Restaurant in the centre of Trieste, between Liberty Café and public houses, where people eat boiled meat and Goulasch?
Yes, there is!
The Restaurant Mascalzone Latino offers to the Triestines the chance to taste the genuine Parthenopean cooking, in fact up to today they didn’t have this chance and now are happy.
That all has been possible thanks to the Rocco Albano resourcefulness. Rocco Albano is an original Neapolitan man, who has built a corner of Napoli in the centre of Trieste.
That’s all true, when you cross the Mascalzone Latino threshold, you can find yourself in an alley of the Spanish quarter with hanging clothes, broken posters and old main doors.
Further on scenography, quality and taste: Rocco has chosen only chef, pizza chef and primary products from Napoli to prepare “Linguine” with pizzaiola steak, “penne with meat sauce”, “saltimbocca” (sauted slices of veal with ham and sage), fried “sfizi”, fresh fish, all cooked to perfection.
Kings, queens and Neapolitan noblewomen give your names to pizzas and beer never miss! The belle of the ball is not only the Parthenopean cooking but also the continuous flow of people, from culture and theatre, as the famous actor Carlo Giuffrè or famous personalities from sport, who leave their shirts with pleasure to “Mascalzone Latino” as memento.
